School Admission
Enrollment
During February, GHA begins the re-enrollment of students and/or enrollment of siblings of current school families. Current families that do not submit re-enrollment contracts by the end of February will go on the wait list with new families. Starting the first week of March, we begin processing new applications.
Admissions Process
- Students must reach the appropriate age for the program in which they are enrolling by August 31 (i.e. age 5 for Kindergarten, age 4 for M/W/F Preschool and age 3 for T/Th Preschool) and December 31 (age 5 for Pre-Kindergarten).
- Parents are scheduled to tour the campus, meet with the Admissions Director and receive an application packet.
- GHA receives the completed application, request for student records form and payment of a $50.00 non-refundable application fee.
- Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade applicants will be scheduled for a visitation day if application is made during the school year.
- All students applying for 1st through 5th grade are administered a short, 40 minute achievement test the same day as the visitation (prior to admission) Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students are given a ‘readiness’ test on the day of their visitation as well. Applications received outside the school year will be scheduled for a summer testing date.
- Completion and return of Contract for Enrollment along with all applicable forms, immunization records (required by law) and non-refundable deposit.
