The Gig Harbor Academy admissions process is designed to address the needs of each individual family that inquires of the school. We recognize that every family is unique, with their own set of circumstances, schedules and concerns. To begin, we encourage families to tour our campus during school hours to gain a complete understanding of the school’s curriculum, environment and philosophy. Teachers are often available during tours to answer specific questions regarding program details, such as reading and writing.
Open Houses are held throughout the year, typically on a weekend in December, January and February, where teachers and current parents are on hand to offer campus tours and curricular information.
Enrollment is open year-round, and approved applications are accepted for the current or upcoming school year.

Niki Vanderford brings enthusiasm and passion to her position as Gig Harbor Academy’s Director of Admissions. As a mother of four and former Gig Harbor Academy parent, Niki can relate to just about every family who walks through the door. Her years of experience on campus working with the Gig Harbor Academy staff as a parent and an employee, gives her a vast understanding of the campus’ inner workings and history. Niki loves getting to know each family, making that personal connection so everyone feels at home.
