The Gig Harbor Academy admissions process is designed to address the needs of each individual family that inquires of the school. We recognize that every family is unique, with their own set of circumstances, schedules and concerns. To begin, we encourage families to tour our campus during school hours to gain a complete understanding of the school's curriculum, environment and philosophy. Teachers are often available during tours to answer specific questions regarding program details, such as reading and writing.
Open Houses are held throughout the year, typically on a weekend in January where teachers and current parents are on hand to offer campus tours and curricular information.
Enrollment is open year-round, and applications are currently being accepted for the current or upcoming school year.
Susan Lomow, Director of Admissions and Marketing
Susan Lomow joined Gig Harbor Academy in 2014. Prior to working for GHA, Susan held numerous progressive marketing and research positions before becoming a Director in the marketing department at Shoppers Drug Mart -- Canada's largest retail drugstore chain. She has a Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba, with a major in marketing. A mother of two children, Susan enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and reading in her free time.
