“The Board, as fiduciary trustees of the school, shall oversee the operations of the school, supervise the Head of School, regularly review and oversee the school’s budget and long-term planning, fundraise on behalf of the school . . .”

GHA, as an independent school, is governed by a Board of Directors who care deeply about GHA and your children. The above statement from the GHA By-laws outlines the main responsibility of the Board of Directors in providing strategic governance through their work and wisdom. The Board is made up of talented men and women, some parents and some community members, who meet regularly in order to provide strategic insight and planning that insures for the sustainability of GHA in the future.

The Board of Directors is investing their time this year in producing a strategic plan for the school for the next five years. The Board of Directors will also be communicating the work of the school and Board in an upcoming Annual Report.

The Facilities Committee, Development Committee and Marketing Committee are all looking for parents to get involved.
