Step for Applying for Tuition Assistance at GHA

STEP 1:Contact Admissions
Indicate your Interest in Applying for Tuition Assistance Indicate an interest in applying for tuition assistance when submitting an application to attend Gig Harbor Academy. Current families can begin the tuition assistance process by contacting the Director of Admissions.

STEP 2: Apply for Assistance
Apply for Tuition Assistance Complete the Parent Financial Statement (PFS) through School and Student Services online at https://sssbynais.force.com/familyportal/familylogin and the student’s submit application fee. Please complete the PFS no later than March 31.

STEP 3: Decision
After completing your application, the decision-making process can take several weeks. Gig Harbor Academy’s tuition assistance committee uses the reports supplied from SSS as a guide to allocating assistance based on need. The committee will also take into account special circumstances should they be pertinent in the decision making process. Gig Harbor Academy does not discriminate in admission or the provision of childcare on the basis of the child’s or the parents’/guardians’ race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, sex, honorably discharged veteran or military status, status as a mother breastfeeding her child, the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a person with a disability: provided, that behavior or actions constituting a risk to property or other persons can be grounds for refusal to serve.
